After months of waiting, Jamie has finally arrived... a fresh face with a fresh birth story to accompany it. This page is for anyone who is interested in reading about how he came into the world. There maybe too much/too little detail but do feel free to leave me a comment if you would like to know more or feel you know far too much!

My Birth Story- the short and Long version!

I thought I would post my birth story online as it was really positive. I know that people don't always read long stories so I've written two versions! The short one- lacks detail but gets you to the point. And the long version- explains feelings, contractions and details. (Read this one!!! lol)

Good luck if you attempt the long version. It is very positive so if you need a 'pick me up', put the kettle on and have a little read!

Its now a week since Jamie was born. He is great. Its the best feeling in the world becomming a parent. Nothing can prepare you for it. Sure there are sleepless nights and other little bits that arn't so appealing but Jamie is definatley worth it. It is getting easier as time goes by.

As for me, I am recovering from the birth really well. I'm glad I never had stitches because I really feel for the women who are still in pain a week later because of them. It is hard adjusting to a new lifestyle without having to be uncomfortable.

Jamie looks like he's about to wake up now.. just in time as I have just finished my stories. (It took me a few days..)

I hope you enjoy them!
